Free Giveaway for my Blog Followers!

Here I come again! My first free giveaway for this year!

I want to thank my blog readers for following me and supporting/reading my posts. So this one is for you.

Remember the 1:12 scale miniature canister labels I was making a while ago? I am giving away these labels to 2 lucky winners. So I will be picking 2 names. Each person will get 1 set of canister labels. These are really easy to use, just cut out the label which you want to use and apply some water on them, slide them between your fingers so the decal will be removed from the paper, and you can attach the decal onto the surface. No glue needed. When dried, it will be fixed in position and if you like, you can apply another coat of varnish.

Ok just remember these are 1:12 scale miniature canister labels, not the real sized ones! Your dollhouse kitchen does deserve this luxury! Hahaha.

To enter the draw, you need to be my blog follower, and leave me a message below, with your contact email address, or at least let me know how I can contact you. I will pick another winner if I don't have a way to contact you to get your mailing address. ;)

Good Luck everyone!

I will pick a winner on 12 March!

Shabby Chic Trays- Non Miniature

Sorry for the lack of posting! I have been busy working on a couple of projects again. I promised to take a few photos the last time to show what I've been working on.

My sweet friend Jacqueline wanted some shabby chic trays to go along to display her brooch pieces. I am so delighted with the opportunity and jumped onto it! This is actually the 2nd non-miniature size wood work I've done, but I'm so excited. Initially I was thinking of using paper, but due to the size of the trays, I suggested to use fabrics instead. I have a big basket of cotton fabrics which I have collected over the years, and this was a great chance to work with them.
I want to thank Jacqueline for giving me this chance to work on something different - non miniature scale. I really enjoyed myself and had fun working on this project! Thank you again :)

The trays are 5cm wide and 21 cm long.

I selected various feminine pink fabric styles and here are the 4 different ones that were chosen.

They are ready to be packed and off to a good home now :)

Stay tuned my friends...Upcoming next is a free giveaway open to all my blog readers to celebrate the milestone of hitting 351 readers! :)

Having fun!

I had a fun weekend. Spent the whole day messing around on my computer and crafting at the same time. I fell in love with some graphics I found and had fun mixing them with my miniatures photos.

Tomorrow, I hope to take some photos of the non miniature stuff that I worked on today..

Meanwhile, I hope you like this!

1:12 scale pink gerbera daisies cupcakes

Just a while ago, I started making some 1:12 scale miniature patisserie again - cupcakes. I searched on google and saw that there were some real life gerbera daisies cupcakes. That gave me an inspiration and I tried to make some as well. :)

I was pleased with the end result- very pink and elegant.

I'm also pleased to have the chance to make some other not so miniature stuff. They are not 1:12 scale, but once I finish that, I will show you the photos of what I am making! :)

1:12 scale sweet pink elegant canisters

I've been indulging myself decorating these canisters lately. My love for pink now extends to kitchen canisters too. I don't have canisters in my home kitchen, I think they are not as popular over here. Most folks just store their dried goods in economical plastic containers or glass containers. So here is just a little something I can fulfill in the miniature world. When I showed these set of canisters to my mom, she likes them too :) I have intention to make these in other feminine colours too.

Wishing you all a Happy Valentine's Day :)

1:12 scale kitchen canisters

I made some miniature decals during the chinese new year holidays. It has been on my to-do list for a while, but it really takes time to make these. This creation came about as I couldn't find anything out there that suits my taste. :P Once I started, I ended up making 8 variations. Finally happy with how they looked!
Oh watch out for my blog soon, as I do intend to make some for a giveaway. I'm sure some of you are also looking for styles like this, and perhaps would love some? :)

Happy Bunny Year!

For all who are celebrating the Chinese Lunar New Year, Happy New Year to all of you!
New Year; new hopes! I wish all of you a prosperous and happy year ahead.

I remember I had a miniature bunny stashed somewhere, and I finally remember to use it in my photo taking.
I experimented and made a miniature shabby chic breakfast tray just the other day. :)
